Self inflicted quagmire
We PEOPLE have the responsibility and the duty to oversee our US Government's actions and stop any action contrary to the interests of our US Virtue, US Principles, US Law as defined in our US Constitution. NO it is not just another piece of paper mR bush.
It has oft been lamented the German people should have "done something" to stop Hitler. How can the people of these United States follow the same path? Is the fear of the Terrorist Bush so great that we dare not impeach him and his Republican co-horts? While Bush and our Congress condemn Turkey for a 1915 "Genocide" the USA has it's own genocide to consider. Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction of an ethnic, religious or national group.
The neo-con Republicans have killed over 655,000 Iraqi civilians, mostly children, women and old people in the present bush War-Ring. In addition, the US Embargo, ok'd by the UN killed an additional 1.5 Million following the 1991 Golf War. Is this Genocide or WAT?
The War-Ring began the Mid-East wars based on absolute LIE'S unquestionably and clearly documented falsehoods. Bush and his Republican co-horts were told this over and over yet they perpetuated the Lies to Congress and US. Worse, the Republicans acted on them.
The House has the power to legislate a stop to the war. Only the HOUSE can bring impeachment charges and they have failed in doing so. WE must insist the House bring impeachment charges against Bush and Cheney. We must also insist Congress stop the Iraq war where the US is interfering with Iraq's normal resolution to their governing process. It is their country, not ours. We have no right to tell them what to do.
We people of these United States must insist by petition to have Initiative and Binding Referendum which is our right. Than perhaps we can stop these radical actions which undermine our Nation as we swing party to party. (see doinggovernment.com)
Sherwood Ross | Many
Americans Still Don't Grasp Iraq War Is Illegal
Mistakenly, many
Americans still believe President Bush's war on Iraq is justified
because Congress supported it and funds it. Yet, as international
legal authority Francis Boyle of the University of Illinois points
out, President Bush got congressional backing by lying that Hussein
had W.M.D. and that Hussein was connected to 9/11. That's fraud,
probably...
