I sent the following to Congress. This is another deletion of our Civil Rights, our Constitutional Rights. Enough is enough. Please use this as a form or copy and send it. Notify your congress critters you won't stand for any more VIOLENT RADICALIZATION AND CONGRESSIONAL GROWN TERRORISM!
The house sponsored this lame bill. But it is right now in the Senate. Please Contact your Senators immediately. (send a note to your rep too eh eh eh )
Dear Congress,
Apparently the terrorists have been successful. They have built FEAR in the minds of Congress. We are a strong Nation of Strong People. We are not afraid. We know we may be attacked, that is the nature of living in this world. We will defend ourselves and our Nation. IF YOU BRING BACK THE POSSEE COMITATUS ACT! THAT IS WHAT THE POSSEE COMITATUS ACT IS FOR, DEFENDING OUR HOME LAND! WITH OUR OWN GUNS! YES WE HAVE A NECESSARY RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. EACH STATE MUST ENLIST THEIR OWN POSSE COMITATUS.
I respond to the PREVENTION OF VIOLENT RADICALIZATION AND HOMEGROWN TERRORISM act Submitted by the House.
I note in the text with comments <B>
SEC. 2. PREVENTION OF VIOLENT RADICALIZATION AND HOMEGROWN TERRORISM.
<B> The first obvious problem with this act is that the terms are not definable. After the allusive "war on terror" [war on fear] with no known matter or being to war with, I would think Congress would not start another McCarthy malarkey or radical witch hunt.
(a) In General- Title VIII of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 361 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following new subtitle:
`Subtitle J--Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism
`SEC. 899A. DEFINITIONS.
<B>(2) I suggest that the differences between the Republican Party and the Democrat Party fulfill this # (2) term. Ideologically based "violence" (to get someone angry enough to react which recently happened on the "Congressional Floor" ) while trying to get someone else to CHANGE their political views. Obviously any congress person who slams or shakes their fist will be immediately labeled a Violent Radicalist guilty of Homegrown Terrorism.
`(3)[A] HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence
<B> (3)[A] planned? threatened? hard to prove indeed. Force or violence is obvious and we have many laws to deal with that. This commission apparently is another "pre-empt" action. Remember those? We have trillions of $$$$$ spent on that now.
(3)[B]by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States
<B> (3)[B] Well, that covers just about anybody dead or alive in or out of the USA.
(3)[C]to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.
<B> (3)[C] nobody is allowed to intimidate or coerce us now by present law. All it takes is a complaint. Perhaps encourage the general public to file complaints with the local police. No commission needed for that.
`(4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs.
<B> (4) Ideological is A system of ideas and beliefs, especially of political ideas and cultures. How is this commission going to determine what I think? How are you going to determine guilt of a political thought? If I think bad things about a politician, will I be locked up? Will YOU be locked up?
`For purposes of this subtitle:
`(1) COMMISSION- The term `Commission' means the National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism established under section 899C.
`(2) VIOLENT RADICALIZATION- The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.
`SEC. 899B. FINDINGS.
`The Congress finds the following:
<B> The findings are the same, all pre-empting ideas and thoughts. I won't itemize them.
I ASK YOU TO ABOLISH THIS BILL ENTIRELY. THERE IS NO PURPOSE FOR IT, NO LOGICAL WAY TO IMPLEMENT IT.
