Privatize
to nothing:
Born broke! How old were you when you
could totally provide for yourself?
Does investing in children provide a
"good return"?
Consider this, if children are healthy,
they likely have few if any adult health problems, costing US
nothing. If children are given good basic education they can provide
for themselves. If they receive advanced education, they make more
money and pay more tax.
Isn't it time to provide for our children? Isn't it a good return on the investment? The only way to do this is with government (we all chip in, (taxes) really paying for what we have received.)
How many times have you heard that a "insurance member" was denied services ? I hear it a lot and here is more proof. Do we want to trust our health and our family's to these "corporations"?

Senate
Republicans Block Energy
Bill

The
Washington Post's Steven Mufson reports, "By a narrow margin,
the Senate today failed again to block a Republican-led filibuster on
an energy bill as GOP leaders made a stand against a $21.8 billion,
10-year tax package that would have extended incentives for wind and
solar energy and reduced some tax breaks for oil companies."

Entertaining article on China. Quite realistic and perhaps the most telling of any article on China I have read. Excellent for all, especially students as this is a different China than textbooks.

emergence as an economic power. Leslie writes, "The catch is
that China has become not just the world's manufacturer but also its
despoiler, on a scale as monumental as its economic expansion."

In fact their lives have become immeasurably worse, with rapes,
burnings and murders now a daily occurrence."

Hidden
U.S. Deaths Of Gulf Wars
Since
Gulf War 1 - 73,846 US Dead, 1,620,906 Disabled
By
Peter Marshall E. Boomhower

"ICH"
-- -- The US department of
veteran affairs has issued an official report (See
report in full) that
confirms 73,000 U.S. troops killed and 1.6 million "disabled"
by Persian Gulf wars. 73,846 U.S. Troops Dead (Page 6) and 1,620,906
permanently disabled ( Page 7)
George Walker Bush has
presided over the worst defeat of the United States Military since
Vietnam and has deliberately skewed reporting of the deaths and
injuries to conceal the facts.
The Department of Veteran's
Affairs, in conjunction with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has released
the truth because they need the American People to know our military
is literally, destroyed.
They cannot release these horrific
numbers via the chain of command because they are under orders to
conceal the truth at all costs, so they let slip a report which now
cannot be "un-slipped."
Here are the facts and a
link to the government source to prove these facts:

Bush Threatens To Veto Bill That Bans Torture
The House on Thursday approved an intelligence bill that bans the CIA from using waterboarding, mock executions and other harsh interrogation methods.
The 222-199 vote sent the measure to the Senate, which still must act before it can go to President Bush. The White House has threatened a veto.
